Vineyard is part of Bethesda House. It offers a day program for Core Members where lasting friendships are made, where each person's thoughts, feelings, opinions and ideas are respected and appreciated; where each person's uniqueness is valued. The Vineyard Day Program has been an oasis for many Core Members; whether due to transitioning from one program to another, a lack of available space in other programs, or the available programs aren't suitable for the Core Members. Here at the Vineyard, we encourage an atmosphere of respect, friendship and teamwork amongst our participants and staff. We enjoy working on a variety of arts and crafts projects; such as candle making, beading, and mosaic tile crafting, just to name a few. With an eye to recycling, we seek out new ways to reuse unwanted items and return them to a state of renewed usage. Along that same line, we remain open to opportunity within the greater community to expand our connections, enhance our quality of life and the quality of those around us, and to learn new skills as well as refine old skills. “We are a committed to providing an atmosphere of warmth and understanding thereby changing one heart at a time.”
