Five Core Members and two Live-in Assistants call Bethesda House home. Core Members go out to work each day or attend a day program. The Core Members have all lived in our home for very long time, ranging from 14 to 31 years. The practice of living and sharing life with each other for so long has given them wisdom and generosity that is a privilege to share. Many Assistants have returned to Bethesda over the years to live and share life with their friends. As Core Members age some are experiencing mobility challenges and welcome the prospect of our new accessible home, we will miss this old house on the hill.

Elegant Bethesda House has impressive stonework foundations and a huge stained glass window. Perched on a hill, it looks out toward the distant sea.
