Keel House is a basement suite in The Ark where two independent Core Members live with one Live-in Assistant. The history of the name Keel dates back to L'Arche when the Ark and Keel was one house. The name at that time was Arc-en-ceil. The name originated from the Bible in the context of Noah's Ark. Today the Keel keeps its history but adds a different ambience. The Keel's 3 housemates enjoy a mixture of solitude, candlelight and soft jazz. Prayer is always incorporated into the day and led by the Core Members. During the days one can expect sports, humor, laughter, warmth and affection. These special qualities make this house thrive.
